I am working on a project that may include this prayer from the rabbi and then followed by the Kaddish. These make up part of a Jewish service, but I do not want to make any mistakes in assuming it can be read outside of its context or, I suppose, by a gentile.
Is there anyone here who can assist me with this?
The link is above.

That's good to know. Thank you. None of my Jewish friends are Orthodox and I fear upsetting anyone.TriciaG wrote: ↑June 27th, 2019, 4:19 pm I don't know, but someone read it for a poetry collection: https://librivox.org/short-poetry-collection-192-by-various/

Yes, I think most will be pleased. However, there are some traditions, as an example, that will only spell out 'G-d.'
I appreciate your comment, though. It is respect that I am trying to foster and I know LibriVox is a hallmark of this.
