Do false teeth help one with pronunciation?
Compared to no teeth? Definitely. Compared with natural teeth? I'd guess it was about the same, so no true advantage. ;)

As to the rule to read/record what's on Gutenberg, it's good. (I can't really follow that one because I don't care [much] for English books, and there aren't many Russian ones on Gutenberg. So I record off Archive.org now)

As to the prosthetic teeth, I think they do help. Our speech mechanism has evolved with the use of teeth, so phonemes are easier to make with certain configuration of the mouth parts... They also help with chewing, or so I heard.

With the caveat that the false teeth are fitted well!
