I changed from a PC to a chromebook, and got a whole different recording website, should I do a new one minute test?

Merry Christmas!
If you're using the same program/tech specs, you shouldn't have to do another test.

You probably don't need it, but I recommend a quick test to check out your set up. Not sure what you mean by a whole different recording website but it is always nice to recheck specks and avoid having to redo stuff. You can post it in this thread and I'll see it and give a listen.

Your voice and tech specs are on the button but your volume is low at 82.8 decibels. We aim at 89 decibels so if you could increase your volume a bit either with the microphone slider or just moving a bit closer to the microphone that would probably do it. Please do this and upload another test called test 2 or something like that. You are very close to getting back into the recording swing Emma, just this one little thing to do. :D
EDIT: I noticed a tendency to 'plosives, where your Ps kinda explode a bit. Not really bad at all but moving the microphone to the side a bit helps.

You have increased your volume to 84.9. I am going to encourage you to keep seeking to kick up that volume a bit and to watch those 'plosives, (there are quite a few in this second test) but also give you the OK to record!. Have fun!
