Like if I liked a book that was already on LibriVox, would it be possible to do another recording of that book.

If you wanted to , yes. It's best to follow the advice we give in the welcome email though if you want a reading you'll be proud of

In other words, you are welcome to record your own version of anything that's already in our catalog -- we have multiple versions of many books. Check out "Pride and Prejudice"! It would be a pity if you couldn't record your favorite book just because someone else beat you to it, and having multiple versions allows our listeners to choose a narrator that suits them.

But please, please, please, don't jump into recording a whole book until you've done your 1-minute test and practiced on a few chapters in collaborative books. Recording an entire book is much more work than you'd think! :D
