What do you mean with "loud whisper"?
Well, a loud whisper - as loud as possible within reason for a whisper, and very close to the mic, but avoid popping.

Also, as I'm on here, with regard to the shout and moving away from the mic, this also makes it realistic as you get more room reverb, making it sound like it's further away but still pretty loud.

Thank you. :) I think that's what I at least try to do. Doesn't help that much though as I don't have my voice under control when it comes to exciting passages... :oops:
