Helium Balloon Cartoon Voice
Hi guys. My Mom just celebrated her 97th birthday, after which I inherited 8 mylar balloons filled with helium. They are slowly leaking out but I'm still wracking my brain what I could read that requires a bit of a hi-pitched cartoon voice. I probably have a week of opportunity left. Any suggestions?

Chipmunks, talking birds and others of that ilk seem perfect for a helium voice!
PD chipmunks! HA HA

You could try a cartoon version of the weekly / fortnightly poem. No matter what the topic, it will sound... interesting!
Cheers, Ava.

The current poem isn't serious, so has playful prospects. I think I'll do it!

And then we have of course:
The tale of Sandy Chipmunk:

and Little Jack Rabbity and Chippy Chipmunk:
http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/36053
Probably around 1.5 hours each.
You could do a dramatic reading with yourself - just boost the chipmunk's lines with the helium and cut the stuff together afterwards.

Those books are cute. Kind of long for me to tackle right now, though. But I could just record the chipmunk parts before my helium dissipates, and store those bits for later. Good idea, thanks.
I did submit the fortnightly weekly poem. That was fun for me.
