Hi all,

Just listening to Ceres Runaways, and thought maybe it should be cataloged not just in non-fiction, but more specifically in essays...?

Just an idea 8-)

Added the genre "Essays and Short Works."

The BC determines the genres when setting up a project. I'm trying to figure out the best way for people to suggest genres for projects, like you just did. Is it better to post and have an admin change it, or talk to the BC and see if they agree first? :hmm: I don't know.

Hi Tricia,

Probably the best way would be to ask BC or reader(s) to look through the genes list - maybe an abbreviated list ... I've often thought the genres list is too long, e.g. so many children's, non-fiction and poetry listings. I'll take a look and see if I can think of ways to reorganize it - not necessarily in the search function, but just so a shorter list would be available for BCs and readers.

I don't think we have too many genres, but I do admit that it's cumbersome to try to select them. I often have the list go away when I scroll a bit too far, then have to page up to start all over. :?

Well anyhow, I'm looking through them with a view to simplification of some kind
