Hi Everyone,

Has anyone brought this up before?

I’m about 2/3 through this solo:

viewtopic.php?f=12&t=66967

And four hours of it is already up on Youtube:

Is this a problem for Librivox? Is it of any importance?

 People have no patience these days, do they?

Also, looking at the channel:

It's annoying because Mr. Theosophy must have downloaded the incomplete files, which we discourage.
But since he's not linking to the files, and he also leaves the LV intro intact, I would say it's annoying but not a direct problem for LV.

For you personally, I'd say take it as a compliment. :D
Cheers, Ava.

It's not really a PROBLEM for us, but we discourage it. We don't want people listening for pleasure (or doing something like this, I'd say) until after a project is cataloged. That's the whole purpose of the wording right above the MW. I wonder if we could send him a message saying to wait until the project is done before downloading.

I've sent a message:
Hello! I'm one of the admins at LibriVox.org. It has come to our attention that you've released part of "The End of the Middle Age: 1273-1453" by Eleanor Constance Lodge, even though the project isn't complete on LibriVox yet. While we welcome people using our files in creative ways, such as you have here, we ask that you do not download files from in-progress projects. Please wait until they're complete and cataloged. The working files are on a smaller server, and we don't want to strain the system by letting people download the files before they're on the main server. Thank you!
