Lost ability to use Bluetooth with the app

I have been using the app in my car to listen via Bluetooth, but suddenly it no longer connectes. I got it to connect for two seconds by starting with the audible app and then switching over. It then goes silent (it doesn’t even play through the phone speaker) even though the timer is counting off. Any suggestions?
