Hi all,

I am introducing a friend to Librivox who has a MacBook. We installed Audacity OK. We will install Lame and hopefully that will be easy.
I was looking at Checker and it looks like it doesn't run on the MacOS. Is it necessary to install Windows on the MacBook to download Checker? And will we have any trouble installing Java6?

Thanks in advance,

Pam

I have a Mac Mini with El Capitan and Checker works just fine. (Checker Version 0.96) It should work on any Mac computer and with any of the more recent operating systems.

Thanks, lurcherlover!
I just didn't see a link at Wiki, like there was for Windows and Linux.

Checker is a Java Script, so if Java works, Checker should work, too.

Very good point. Make sure Java is downloaded and active.

It looks like checker is avaiable from several places. You might check https://cgjennings.ca/checker.html which has an MacOS link and special instructions and Mac specific instructions.
