audio file length discrepency
As DPL, I have come across a file that audacity shows to have a length of 47:01, but Windows 10 explorer lists as 46:54. A spot check of a half dozen other files I happen to have on my computer shows that for those files Audacity and explorer agree. In the past I have sometimes used the length reported by explorer when posting a file or checking a posted file . My question is this: does an error in reported file length matter? Or should I as DPL (or BC) just ignore it?

I've noticed the discrepancy, too.
If it's within a couple seconds, don't worry about it. If it's off more than 2-3 seconds, maybe use the correct one according to Audacity.
