Is Adobe Audition okay?

I'm new and getting set up to volunteer. I am using Adobe Audition for podcasting. Is it okay to use it instead of Audacity?
Just want the workflow to be smooth for books here.

We don't mind what you use as long as you give us mp3 files with the correct specifications. I don't remember anyone talking about that program though I know there are people who continue to record with something they are used to using then use another program to make the output work for cataloguing.
The advantage of Audacity is that it is free , works well for us and most people can help you with any problems
