I chose Neumann because the BCM 104 because it seems to deliver a crisp sound. It picks up the voice so much better than others that I tried. Also for the fact that I will eventually be doing podcasts, it seemed to be the right mic at the right price. Other mics that I tried just didn't seem to deliver like the Neumann.
