I have 4 files from Fabulas de Esopo that have some background noise. I only have Audacity (which is not good with cleaning it up) and the reader has already tried to get rid of the sound at it's source, with no success.

If someone could have a go at cleaning these up I would be very grateful since they are the last 4 recording needed to finish up Volume 3. The files are all short, under 2 minutes each.

Thanks in advance :)

I'll do them .. CoolEdit Pro.

They took 12-14 db of noise reduction, plus light or standard hiss reduction. I'm not too happy with the result, which has left an echo to the voice.

Do feel free to let others have a go, to see if you can get higher quality.

The file names all now end "NR"

Oh Peter Thankyouthankyouthankyou!!!

It sounds much better. I am not too worried about the echoes, they were there before the cleaning anyway. When I tried in Audacity it caused a horrible tinny sound. Now you can hear his voice without the distracting buzzing and hissing. :D
