Hello,

I'm new here and I'd love to start recording. I followed all the steps to download Audacity, which seems to be the proper recording software, but it isn't supported on my Google Chromebook. Is there something I can use that supports ChromeOS?

Welcome to LibriVox, Riley! :D I haven't tried any of these recently, and the few I did try, a year or so ago, really didn't work well enough. But that's a long time ago in the app world, so you could try:

Recording:

Editing:

Convert from WAV to MP3:

There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!

Thanks so much! The Cloud Audio Recorder actually works very well!

I'll check out the editing software as well
:)
