Lossless files?

I'm trying to free up hard disk space; does anyone save their original files in a lossless format and which ones do you use?
Anyone can read accurately. [i]I[/i] read with great expression.

I use flac - its about half the size of .wav and Audacity makes them so it is easy.

Yep - I save them all as FLAC and get rid of the Audacity files.
