iTunes Subcribe Option

I usually use the iTunes option to listen to books so I can hear them on my iPod while I'm at work and they don't get mixed up in my music. But as of late I haven't been able to find the way to subscribe to books. There used to be an option to subscribe, now there isn't. Has that feature been removed?
Hmm, that's funny, let me pester our technical guys!

I'm so sorry, we had a server emergency this morning, had to upgrade some behind-the-scenes stuff, and our iTunes links broke. We'll try to get them fixed up as soon as we can!
Meanwhile, you can still download the zip file, double-click to unzip, then drag the files into iTunes. It's not as handy, though. I like using the iTunes links, myself!

A work-around may be to do this:
- Get the RSS feed URL from the Librivox catalog entry for the story you're interested in.
e.g For "The Theory of Social Revolutions" at http://librivox.org/the-theory-of-social-revolutions-by-brooks-adams/ , right-click on "RSS Feed" to "copy shortcut" or "copy URL" to put the URL on the clipboard.
- Launch iTunes
- click on the "Advanced" menuitem
- select "Subscribe to Podcast..."
- paste the copied link into the box under "URL:"
- click the "Enter" button
- iTunes goes after the podcast. Badda-boom, badda-bing.
The URL for the "RSS Feed" is http://librivox.org/bookfeeds/the-theory-of-social-revolutions-by-brooks-adams.xml
The URL behind the "Subscribe in iTunes" is itpc://librivox.org/bookfeeds/the-theory-of-social-revolutions-by-brooks-adams.xml
The only difference is the first four letters.
This works for RSS feeds on other podcast sites too, in case they don't have the convenience of the "Subscribe in iTunes" buttons.
*later*
I just did a little experiment of pasting http://librivox.org/bookfeeds/the-theory-of-social-revolutions-by-brooks-adams.xml into the browser address bar, edited it to say "itpc://librivox.org/bookfeeds/the-theory-of-social-revolutions-by-brooks-adams.xml", and it opened iTunes and started the subscription just like it would for the "Subscribe in iTunes" button.
Well. You learn something new every day.

The iTunes links are back, by the way :) (At least they should be -- please post if you find a catalog page that's missing them)

It's working now. Thanks for fixing it.
