Hello,
it's been months i've REALLY been at Librivox, and time and again i remember my remaining Book projects. But i am so much out of Librivox - it won't happen. That's not good for either Librivox nor me.
I am looking for a BC to take over the good and nearly finished Sci-Fi projects:

The sleeper awakes
http://librivox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8570&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

The Last Man
http://librivox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8621

The BC can notify remaining claimers and set a VERY short date in which to renew their old(!) claims, and otherwise kick them quickly to get these projects done. Although handling this, is of course totally up to the new BC.

Thank you for stepping in,
Stephan

Hi, Stephen -

I can take The Sleeper Awakes off your hands. This is actually a title I looked at quite awhile ago in anticipation of listening to it after it was done. I'd be happy to help it move along into the catalog.

I skimmed over the project thread and it looks like it needs a bit in the way of re-assignment and updating of the MW information to reflect the current template. Send me a PM and we can iron out the transition details.

Ditto me for The Last Man. Are the files on the uploader, or elsewhere, as I haven't skimmed through the entire thread. If they're elsewhere, can I get ftp access to them? PM me.

Jim,

Just to help things along here, I've added you as alt-BC to The Sleeper Awakes" so you can now edit the magic window. Stephan or one of the other admins will have to make any changes that are needed to the text of his original post.

Thanks, Jo! Are you taking over as MC on this or is it still Kara? If it is she,
I'll send her a PM with the Admin-level edits I need.

Paul,

Since I still have Stephan's server set up in my ftp software, I went ahead and moved these files over to the LV uploader for you while I was waiting for a project to derive at archive. You'll find them in kayray's folder (kr). There are also a few of these floating around in some of the old monthly folders.

Good Luck with the project!

Thanks a lot guys,

Steampunk, yes, you'll have to kick out a lot of old claims and re-open them to volunteers. :)

Drop me PMs with the changes i need to make to the first thread post, if i need to make changes.
