Hello all,

I'm a new user on the forum and can't seem to send a private message. Is there anything special I need to do to be able to do that?

thanks,

After you have been more active here, you'll be able to send PMs. That feature is intentionally deactivated for brand new members. :)

I see. I actually only signed up on the forum because it looked like that was the only way to contact a reader. I don't yet have plans to contribute audio content so I don't have much to say publicly on the forums. Is there some other way to contact a reader?

You could start a new thread in the Off Topic forum with their username in the heading and state your message.

If I want to pass on non-critical information that I think may be helpful to a reader, how can I do that?

I'm not sure what you mean, but just in case: We do not allow unsolicited criticism, neither on the forum, nor via pms. See here:

Keeping the above in mind, you have now posted a sufficient number of times that you should be able to send a private message.

That is what I was referring to when I said non-critical.

Thanks for the info.
