Should I allow or disallow 'noise-suppression' feature for my Microphone from my PC settings?

I keep that deactivated. What it does is suppress the noise in-between your words, but the noise is still in your speech and impossible to remove with noise reduction, because you won't be able to "Get Noise Profile". Whereas if you disallow it, you may get some background noise in your recordings but you will be able to use the Noise Reduction feature in Audacity to remove it, both in the speech and in the spaces in-between.
