Let's join our voices in LibriVox's Christmas choir! The goal is to get as many audio files as possible!
You don't have to be a professional singer to participate -- all voices welcome!
Deadline: December 15, 2020, 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST)
Instructions:
The first verse will be sung in the tune composed by Murray (well-known in the U.S.), the second verse in the tune composed composed by Kirkpatrick (well-known in England), and the third verse will be harmonized with both tunes.

Set your recording software to:
Channels: 1 (Mono)
Bit Rate: 128 kbps
Sample Rate: 44.1 kHz

I was hoping extra time would mean a few extra volunteers; I think the more voices, the more beautiful it sounds. (And hey, I'm doing better! Last year I started it in July.)
EDIT: Your singing is so beautiful! Yes, this will definitely be fine! Were you already familiar with the England melody? You sang it as though you knew it well. I had heard the song sung in that tune a few times in the past, but I still had to take some time to learn it for this project. Hopefully it won't be difficult for the U.S. contributors to sing. And thanks for choosing to sing all the verses!!

I think Iβd heard the England melody maybe once before. Iβve played piano for 8 years, though, so I was able to read the sheet music and get a pretty good idea of the notes.
