I will definitely want to participate in this! It might be a couple of days before I can record it, but I'll get cracking soon, I promise. Thanks! :D

The USA tune was new to me. According to Wikipedia this is the original tune. I've no idea why the UK sings another.

I sang the melody line.
This is pitched very low. Most male singers will struggle with a bottom G unless they are a proper bass, and I'm not.
Please let me know if you want harmony or instrumental recordings.

Hi Twinkle,
Considering how much I tend to procrastinate, I don't think this is too early at all! ☺ I'm very familiar with the U.S. version, and have heard the English version, although I don't think I've sung it before (thank goodness you provide the lyrics!), so I think I'll be ambitious and do both parts.
Thanks, as always, for including me.

Hi Twinkle, Nothing like a friendly PM nudge! Here is my contribution, in the spirit of the season. :D (I'm not a singer!)

Yippee!! Thank you so much! :9:

Oh, no! Perhaps I should have raised the song a note or two. :? I think, though, that the lowest note in this version of "Away in a Manger" is a half-note higher than the lowest note in the version of "Silent Night" from two years ago, so I'm hoping this will work out okay...

I've saved a spot in it for "Away in a Manger"! Looking forward to hearing it when it's fully chorused!
