I went with soprano in the end as my alto part might not go with the accompaniment.

Twinkle, this is just to let you know that the 2018 Christmas Carol Collection has now been launched. The thread is here:

I've reserved the first spot in the MW for the choral Silent Night. :)

My turn! https://librivox.org/uploads/cori/silentnight_mightyfelix.mp3

(Anybody know who'll be doing the Christmas short story collection this year? I've had a story recorded for it since January, and I'm raring to go! )

EDIT: I kinda wanted to give you a nice high note at the end, but just went with straight melody, since it sounds like you may have plenty of harmony already. But if you want one, I'm happy to comply!

Peter Why wrote: October 24th, 2018, 10:26 pm It might be worth putting a time-tick into the music mp3 for these songs in future, to get the start of the voices lined up. ONE-two-three! I should have thought of adding it before I did my recording.
Peter
Thanks for the tip! I will certainly consider doing this, especially at the beginning.

Awesome! Thank you very much! Harmony at the end does sound like a lovely idea -- either way is totally fine. :)

Hello,

Here is my recording. It may need some editing in the very beginning when the intro music is playing. Not sure how
to do that. Let me know if you need me to record it over. I don't mind :D

Alomentis wrote: October 16th, 2018, 2:30 pm There are a couple people interested in doing Alto, I would be interested in doing Tenor myself, is there sheet music we could follow to add parts?
Could you maybe give us a link to the music of the piano accompaniment you are using? Then we can sing part of that harmony.
