I've just launched a project on Legamus and I'm looking for a DPL based in a Life + 70 country.

The project is 29 verses by Amanda McKittrick Ros, and all the poems are pretty awful. If a prospective DPL can only manage one or two at a time, I will understand! I don't know that this will move terribly quickly as it is.

I'm seeking standard PL.

The project thread can be seen here:

Questions? Please ask!

Not sure if you're in a Life + 70-friendly country? Check this listing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries%27_copyright_lengths ... if the number there is 70 or less -- and most countries are -- then you're good to go. :D
There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!

Thank you so much! Cori, you're very organised. I'm glad you thought of putting the link in the thread!

Thank you, David. You're a brave man! Her verse is notoriously bad.

Have you not heard of our very own Canadian 'cheese' poet, James MacIntyre ?
ODE ON THE MAMMOTH CHEESE.

Weight over seven thousand pounds.

We have seen thee, queen of cheese,
Lying quietly at your ease,
Gently fanned by evening breeze,
Thy fair form no flies dare seize.

I have heard of James MacIntyre! Bad poetry has its own special appeal, but only in very limited doses.

I'm posting again because the sections have all been uploaded. The total time of the project is 69 minutes, and that includes the first five that have already been PLed. There are 24 sections left - all very bad!

If you're in a Life + 70 country and want a good laugh, step this way:

Hello Ava,

That's very kind of you! Thank you ever so much for your offer. I can't believe I'm saying this, but somebody actually posted on the project thread a few hours before you. I've never had that happen before.

Thank you again for volunteering, and please do keep checking in on Legamus. DPLs are just as welcome there as they are here! We may yet work together on a different book.

My very best,
Erin

With your permission, I'll remove this from the forum, then.

EDIT: Apparently we don't delete these, but just lock them. :)
