commonsparrow3 wrote:Amelia, I don't know whether or not this will be suitable for your podcast, but I've recorded a little thank-you to LV for "being there" for my dad in a tough time lately. If it's a bit too "downbeat" for a celebratory podcast, I'll save it for a more appropriate occasion. But in case you'd like to use it, here it is -- (length 2:35).

Maria-- somehow I just barely noticed this! I'm sorry. I would love to include it, of course. thank you thank you.

Amelia, I just uploaded the 12th Anniversary Song to the 12th Anniversary Collection. Here's the link, if you still want to use it in the podcast. (Length is 3:05 with the intro and outro, but you may wish to cut those out before editing it into the podcast.)

since this is my first go with a podcast, I would appreciate feedback, good and bad. PM me if there is anything you think I could have done better/differently. we'll see if I have time to do another podcast. it was pretty fun to put together.

is there an admin who may have a minute to help finalize this podcast? I don't want it to slip through the cracks and get too outdated before it goes out to the wider public...

Oh, I thought you had an admin lined up to help you with this...

it's late here, but maybe somebody else can try? If nobody does until tomorrow morning, I will try and find out how we have dealt with podcasts before... *scared*

In any case, could you give us something like this - with times and names - if possible, please? I think it is good to have more details on our blog?

I'll put it on Archive (the easy part). I don't recall where we put the show notes, etc.

excellent! thank you so much Tricia!

does anyone know why the last few podcast episodes haven't shown up in my podcast app? and how to fix it?
Cori mentioned in a PM that the posts needed to be tagged on the blog with "LibriVox Community Podcast"-- but it looks like they are. is there something else going wrong with the feed?

well, maybe someday an expert will come to the rescue and it'll get figured out. in the meantime, not the end of the world.

Great job! Congratulations on doing this and getting it posted. I enjoyed doing my contribution. The 12th Anniversary project was fun. Number 13 coming up next year!

I gave the tags a little prod -- maybe that worked? If not, then something bigger has changed (perhaps WordPress might have altered how it shares feeds, or the systems that pick them up have changed file/data formats or ... goodness knows ... would need further investigation from someone way more up-to-date than me.)
