It appears to be regularly updated and has 466 followers.
Yes, I believe that's earthcalling updating that one (and @librivoxateers, too)
There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!

I agree with Patrick, Facebook would be a good idea. Would it be possible to contact Facebook and ask them to get in touch with the admins of the two groups or to delete them if they are not active? Although the latter is probably not possible... I actually joined one of the two groups when I started at LV...

Call me a stick in the mud, but I don't see how an active Facebook group will promote LV. I don't pay attention to what groups my friends are a part of, and if others are like me, they don't, either.

The Facebook LV groups just seems to me like another place to chat, and I do enough of that here.

Oh, and P.S. You can click on the group's admin's name, then under their picture in their profile is the option to send them a message. For what it's worth.

You would be surprised at how much groups and fan pages mean to many people on facebook. I personally do pay attention to what groups my friends are joining. If we could get an active facebook group, it could do wonders.

Enjoy Tom Swift? Perhaps you would enjoy a book about him meeting up with some Diamond Makers
Or perhaps you'd rather talk about music with children.

I also think that it would attract some of the younger readers. I don't use facebook much myself but plenty of my friends are on it for hours every day, and if they could spend these hours here instead...

My blogs are VERY new but I do mention LibriVox and our recordings on them. Hopefully if I get some followers they will check us out. We are definitely worth it if I do say so myself. :D

Do we have any new audio promo's (1 min or less)?
There are some at http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Promotional_Material
just wondered are there any 'newer' versions...
Thought struck me perhaps we could get a bit of air time in a few podcasts..
Thanks.

Could someone check the links to the wallpapers? I'll try again later, but the links seem to be broken. Thanks, and I apologize for the trouble if its on my end!

It depends on if they want mp3 CD's or music CD's. You can fit so much more on an mp3 CD (several books) while on the music CD, it takes several CD's to hold ONE book.

I often burn Cd's as collections... Same Author, genre or subject.

Like burning Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer along with Huck Finn on the same CD.

Or how about a History CD? Romance? etc... You get the picture.

You can search by genre here: http://librivox.org/newcatalog/genres.php

What about blinkies and siggies and "follow me" tag lines that can be posted to blogs and forums?
