I think you can make them display by making all the projects you do your favourite ( or Favorite if you prefer that spelling)- I think some of our makers do that.

I do that already and have my private collection in a Word doc on Dropbox. I'm interested in showing my collection to other people. It represents quite a journey and untold hours of my time, and I'm very proud of it. I suspect other covermakers feel the same about theirs, and I'd love to see their work gathered in one place. A mutual admiration society would be welcomed by me, wonderful and well deserved.

Yeah, in that case, you'd need to make your own "project" and upload the cover art to it. As you make more covers, you can edit the project to add the additional artwork.

EDIT: On the other hand, you could also just advertise your favorites page. I found it: https://archive.org/details/fav-msfry

America Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew

They are not only her covers though.
No idea how to - but you could probably use youtube somehow.

My only suggestion would be to focus on the creative effort rather than the outcome; otherwise you'll fall into the trouble of bringing fantasy into reality! Today the digital world gives a lot of opportunities. You don't exactly need the ability to draw, but you certaily need to know the tools to find a way to accomplish what you desire. Free tools like Blender for 3d rendering, Inkscape for vector drawings and Gimp for photo manipulations will give you plenty of ways without a graphic tablet. I hope this will cheer you up a bit. :)
Could you share how you made your collection display on Archive? That's a great idea I bet we'd all like to do.
When you make your page, there is a place on the description with an icon like this <> clicking it will allow you to write some html code and insert a picture on a description. The code is usually something like <img src"picture link here"> however I had some troubles making it work. I can't say if the archive team want this type of description.. and I hope this won't be considered a personal use since I want these resources to be public and free.

Lion24 wrote: February 22nd, 2020, 3:43 am Just wanted to say that I'm collecting all the covers I make on the Internet Archive. Since I always draw something on my own I thought it was needed if only, as a reference. Feel free to remix or re-invert them; they are not very polished and farly simple, on SVG format, so compatible with a lot of graphic sotwares. https://archive.org/details/librovox
Lion24, your covers are very nice!

I want to thank Michele Fry for the great covers she did for Dr. Doolittle's Post Office and Grandpa in Oz. Both are nice to look at with great detail and very attractive. Cool! All of you cover art makers are should be thanked for the meticulous and artistic job you do with little or no recognition. Keep it up! I rest easy knowing that our projects will be handled like this. Image  (and knowing that I am totally incapable of doing 'em)

Uh oh. My fault. I saw it wasn't claimed, then went to see what I could find for artwork before claiming it. I didn't refresh the list before uploading my cover, or else I would have seen your claim. Sorry!

I, too, look around for pictures before I claim, but I never check the project for a cover after I've claimed it, confident it is mine! If I took time to design a cover I claimed, only to find somebody else's already up, that would really upset me. I think EVERYONE should follow the same rules - claim first, and only pre-claim projects you are either BC or Soloist for. And our admins it seems have an additional rule: REFRESH YOUR SCREENS before you claim!!!!!

Yes, lesson learned here. :)

In my defense, I will say that it does seem like the weekly/fortnightly poetry projects haven't been getting claimed very quickly lately, so I was pretty confident no one would be claiming it in the hour or less that it took me to check the claim was empty, hunt for a photo, and make and upload the cover.
