Hi, Below is all the info you should need re: the public domain material used in the play...

Was I supposed to use the file name designation at the upload site - it was penny_parker_christmas I think...I wondered it I was supposed to use that instead of "pennyparkerxmas' (the file name I used). Let me know, because that may be the problem. Sorry for the glitch!

Penny Parker stories: All in Public Doman and available at Gutenberg Project -- six of the stories are at Librivox.

 YAY!!! I'm so glad it works - I was afraid it might have been something in the uploading due to the extra tracks the file had.

I just noticed that the tracks on the last song (Jingle Bells) got out of sync - I think I did some editing at the end that threw it off. I will fix it and reupload it if that is OK.

Oh, dear. :( There's just one problem, Cheryl. "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" is not in the public domain. It was published in 1923, but it needs to be published before 1923. Could you maybe use a different Robert Frost poem instead? (And sorry this is so last-minute!)

Thanks for the heads up - I found another poem that came from a public domain site - Winter by Walter de la Mare It is about winter and about the same length, so I will see if I can insert it without throwing all the tracks off. ...I will reupload the file as soon as I can -- if it works.

Twinkle, I know this is very last minute... but since you're going to have to do some more editing anyway, I've got a Christmas poem for your podcast. I didn't run through the thread to see if it has been done before.

Hi, Twinkie,
I re-uploaded the corrected file, with the new poem and the re-synchronized Jingle Bells. Info on the files below....Thanks for all your hard work on this project. I am sorry I didn't get this to you before tonight, as I imagine you are pretty well swamped. I hope everything goes smoothly!

This is how the link looked at the upload site:
https://librivox.org/uploads/cori/Penny_Parker_Xmas.mp3

The new poem is "Winter" by Walter de la Mare Here's a link to the public domain poetry site where I found it:

Also, Mr. Parker's joking "poem" "Fleas" is by Strickland Gillilan - original satirical title: "Lines on the Antiquity of Microbes" but commonly used as a joke. It was already well known by 1911 - it was mentioned in vol 1 issue 1, p 28 of the "Lyceum News that year (google books archives)

Oh, man! Is it possible when it's so long? (That was the one reason why I should have split it up into two parts!)
