I've included an identification. I hope it's okay this time:

102nd, wow!
I'm wondering how many of us will still be able to listen to audiobooks at that age :)

Here's my contribution, also with a "surprise" at the beginning if you wish to use it, otherwise you can also cut that, up to you.
I also wrote a little poem, even before I noticed the post from Sonia...
Anyone else who wants to join the birthday-poetry-club?

If you think it's too long or it doesn't fit in... just use what you like and what fits in

Thank you, MaryAnn!

Thank you Kitty.

Lovely idea with the poem . . . I have an aunt who writes poems . . . have always admired people who can do that . . .

Yes, I will be able to let Bill know about the podcast when it's ready.

And I'm still waiting for info on final approval of the settlement making "Happy Birthday" public domain. Turns out, we don't have the ability to check the court records system at the office, so I've reached out to a lawyer at one of the firms my company regularly uses and asked him to check the case status for me.

I'm not a poetry person, I'm more of a researcher, so I hope my facts are not too boring for you! (Honestly, just cut them if they are. I found them rather interesting, but I find almost everything completely and utterly fascinating)

A Level exams from 4th May to 30th June. I am around, just not as often. If I forget or miss anything, drop me a PM and I'll be on it like a wasp on honey!

Hi Charlotte

I had a little listen-in because I got curious as to what you meant by "reasearch" and I think it's an absolutely wondeful idea to enumerate all these facts, especially the book releases. Maybe Bill should listen to them, as they are exactly his age. Here in shops one can even buy such birthday cards, where historical happenings on your birthday are listed. I am sure Bill will find it funny. Did you find no famous person that was born on the same day ? Would have been nice to include as well :)

As I can not write poems, I included a nice little one from Franz Grillparzer :) It is on Zeno:

No famous people - a couple of deaths but I figured that was inappropriate

Have we got time to find out who Bill's favourite readers are? ... or his preferred style of book?

Peter,

We learned of Bill when he sent in a thank you note for Roger. I'll ask the Admin who handles thank you notes if she has had any follow up with Bill. She might be able to ask what he particularly likes. Any questions from me would be out of the blue and a bit odd.

I understand ... but it would be nice if he could have a "happy birthday" from his favourites, if we can find out without revealing what we're going to do.
