Okay, I'll pick up where Julia left off of this list (Julia in red). If Maria finds more, she can post a second list, and maybe some other readers will come along for that. I listened to Julia's file, so if I come across something that sounds repetitive of a previous one, I may exclude it, okay? Shall I get started?

Dear Librivox Readers, I joined this group specifically in order to thank you. To thank you for all the hundreds of hours pleasure you gave me while I drew the illustrations for my book, 'The Unfeathered Bird'. Thanks to you, I worked 24/7 for several years and didn't succumb to bouts of housework, coffee making, or any of the other displacement activities common to artists. You achieved what no music or radio station could achieve and kept me at my desk! I'm now working on another illustrated book and listening anew. I think I've heard most of your voices by now, and feel as though I know you all in person. You all have my most sincere gratitude.

Fine, you can start recording whenever you have time :)
Maybe we will produce this podcast after all :)

I've read the remaining Thank A Reader's listed above as well as the Facebook comment. I could comb through and find more variety, I am sure. Do whatever you want with these snippets.

I'll work on my own comments next. It's been interesting and rewarding to really stop and think awhile on how Librivox helps ME! For example, I always tell people I need to leave or get off the phone because "my mouth gets tired of talking" or "I have exceeded my daily word quotient". But I've learned that is not at all true. I just don't like small talk, or talking when the other party isn't listening, and am lousy at extemporaneous speaking. I find I could read out loud all day. I hope some other volunteers will get onboard this project to delve into and share their unique insights.

LV volunteering helps with Boy Scouts, too. As a requirement, scouts have to choose a non-profit organization and volunteer 8 hours for it. I chose LV.

Great. Would you like to record a short segment about this? :)

No, I won't be able to.
Edit - I might be able to actually, I'll see what I can do. :)

Piotrek,
How many submissions have you gotten? I see this has been going on a long time, and if you're still looking for more submissions, I can certainly help with reading some thanks-for-Librivox emails. :)

Thanks. As a matter of fact I've got some submissions, it's just that I never got round to recording my bits.

I already have the recordings of some thank-you notes Would you like to record something about how LV helped you?

Maybe I could do that, I just don't see how that would be very interesting with listeners... I'll see what I can do. :)
