Are there any takers, for reading a chapter of my work?
There are four examples from this web page, see the last four items on the menu: http://cgsng.com/page38.htm
I have used a robot head for reading for me, as I find it less intimidating. Examples of this are:
Danger, Overhead Junkie parts 1-4:

Thanks for your interest. What is it that you find appealing about the rhyme, and do any of my others interest you?
I asked LibriVox about mine being read, and still don't know if the works have to be over a century old or so. If you could get them to clarify that, that is the next step. If OK, I could upload more for browsing.

Posting links to your poetry here is probably OK but posting links to copyright material you have used is not , could you remove the links for the Douglas Adams piece and any others that are copyright ? LibriVox always supports authors rights to make a living.

I am a little confused- do you desire to upload to LV, or do you want the poems read for your personal use? I don't care if my voice was used for your personal use (heck, I guess you can sell it if you want to), but I am a little unsure what you desire to do.
Hello! Newly graduated and occasional Librivox contributor.
No, I don't think your poems will be eligible for the LibriVox catalogue, due to our rules about publication and public domain copyright status. But if anyone wants to record them so you can directly to the Internet Archive, perhaps in the 'Community Audio' section, they'll still reach an audience.ChrisG wrote:I asked LibriVox about mine being read, and still don't know if the works have to be over a century old or so. There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!
I thought if I gave permission it would be OK to have mine included. Optimum Pessimism wouldn't suit a young female voice anyway, though it has always been a popular one. I will include another in the next days on my website, that would suit anyone reading it, and I'm interested in hearing from those who would like to read it, even for their own pages. I've removed the other link as requested. Sorry for the delay, my PC was faulty.
