Listen to Librivox Community Podcast Show #110
Duration: 20:21

Hosted by Cori (who forgot to mention her name anywhere this week, but y'all know who I am by now. ;))

Learning a Language with LibriVox!

Happy New Year (again!)

Gregg talks about his year at LibriVox (his LibriVersary is this Saturday.)

Nicholas reads the post which started off the Language Learning Resources mini-project at LibriVox. Also, some samples of his language recordings -- and his wife, Grace, introduces herself.

Thoughts from Leni on using LibriVox for learning Portuguese (read by Cori.)

Denny reads from the Prologue of the soon-to-be-completed project: English Synonyms and Antonyms.

Availle reads from an as-yet unrecorded German-English textbook.

Music by Brahms, played by the US Army Band, from the lovely Public Domain Classical Music venture - musopen.com.

Thank you for listening! :9:

A podcast without Neeru is like a cake without flour.

The German section was great! I just hope Availle will set up a German language learning project in the near future! ;)

A very interesting and a very good Podcast #110!
It does also show something more about LibriVox.
Within less then 4½ years LV has branched out in several directions, and it gets more and more amazing and fascinating. So what will happen in the coming year, and the coming years? I am surely looking forward to see that, and am grateful to be a small part of this ever growing community.
