I am sorry to have created such a mess for you to contend with, Anne. I noticed a mistake on my CD case insert page and replaced it quickly but not before you had "caught" it. Then, I said "in" instead of "of" in one of my file names. I line them up and check for consistency every time. This one got through. My eyes/brain just did not catch it.

Making mistakes like this, creating work for you, makes me feel bad, especially when it so easy to correct file names on my home computer. What you have to do to make corrections on your end must be quite different.

It just refused to work - so this morning I deleted all the old versions and links, fixed the file names, and now I think it is right [fingers crossed]

Hi all,

I have no skill in making covers, but I was wondering whether whoever picks up The Epistle of St Paul to the Romans could somehow make use of the image here (the head on the left) since it is referred to in the preface of the book.

Someone may have a much better idea however and I am perfectly fine with it!

It's a very low-quality image - you could probably find a higher quality one somewhere if you looked.

Are you thinking more the resolution or the content?

I managed to download the original scan image from archive (it's in the .tar as a jp2 which GIMP can open). Seems like the quality is not top notch but not bad either.

heyho,

may i please give back my claim: Cent récits d'histoire contemporaine

i wanted to make a booklet with the llustrations, use the cover pic, and so on.
i misunderstood the entry on he third? page: corbeil. - typ. et stèr. crété
i thought, all pics are by one person.
but after trying to reseach, seeing several undecipherable signatures on just some of the pics than i hoped for, and so on..
i give up and hope for someone else to take this over, who is able to use the title pic at least.
