It's nice to thank cover makers but could you please do it in the cover makers chat thread (where you posted your suggestion) - it's very easy to miss working posts otherwise and if it's a preclaim missed it causes problems all round.

How about adding an instruction at the top of the First Post, so everyone will know how to thank a cover maker. Something like:

If you want to thank a cover maker, ask questions, or provide hints and tips, etc. please visit our Covermaker's Chat Thread. This Working Thread is for preclaiming and submitting covers.

How will people know unless you tell them?
Thank you, Louise. I'm glad you liked your cover.

It is already there: "If you want to ask questions or chat or provide hints etc. try here" but that may be to ambiguous. I'll update the wording a little.
School fiction: David Blaize
Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew
Medieval England meets Civil War Americans: Centuries Apart
Humor: My Lady Nicotine

Yes, I quoted what is already there, adding just enough to address the issue at hand.
