good morning everyone!

maybe im entered already as cover artist, as i posted the reason for this preclaimed cover, project id 12655:
https://librivox.org/jenseit-des-tweed-by-theodor-fontane/

bc ricarda preclaimed the cover and asked me to make it for her. she chose and published this one here

used pic: https://archive.org/stream/castlespalacespr00mack#page/n67/mode/2up
according to the pic-title under the pic: artist unknown 1745 (Ballengeich means "windy pass" in Gaelic. cemetery and streets and so on around stirling castle are named like that.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stirling_Castle )
published in the book "The castles, palaces, and prisons of Mary of Scotland"by Mackie, Charles, d. 1864 (seems to indicate year of death)

cover files: link deleted, because i try to correct a mistake i saw
edit: new link: https://librivox.org/uploads/covers/fontane_jenseit_1812.zip

thank you!

cheers,
schrm

Oops, I noticed a misspelled name on the pdf for Key To Uncle Tom's Cabin. How do I upload the corrected file? Must it be in a zip? :help:

What are you talking about, a filename? I already fixed that.

I would appreciate if you could doublecheck things before uploading. I'm not as patient as Anne and it's annoying having to go back and fixing things again.
Cheers,
Ava.

Well, I am not perfect, Availle. This is the second time in 5 years I've made a spelling mistake on a reader's name on a CD Case. The reader contacted me and I promised to get the error fixed. I would do this myself if I could, in fact have made many offers to Anne to help processing covers, but so far I am not empowered to do it. All I need at this moment is to know how to upload the corrected file so it can be replaced, if not by you then by someone else willing to help me get the reader's credit right. My question: Do I have to encase the pdf file in a zip file?

No idea what filename you had to fix. They all look in order to me.

Yes Michele, I noticed that you're not perfect. :D

Sorry 'bout the filenames, different projects:
it's Barnum with a U instead of Barnam in the pdf.
and out of the 4 files of Tennison's poems, three were labelled with MMYY instead of the other way around as it should be.

I don't usually mention filennaming issues here because it is really easier for me to change them on my computer since I have to download the zips in any case, no need for you to reupload and waste time on both ends.
But I do want to point out that if these were audiofiles with wrong tech specs, I would throw them back at you without hesitation because it is your responsibility to get this kind of stuff correct.

As for that wrong pdf file, yes, you need to upload it in a .zip; that's the only filetype besides audiofiles the uploader will accept. Please post the link as usual, I will take it from there. If the rest is fine, I only need the pdf.
Cheers,
Ava.
