Working to get the link correct as well...

Thanks, Availle! :D For that error, I should be sent to the "lake of pitch" (an outcropping of asphalt in the middle of the South American jungles which was being mined by men with picks and shovels and shipped to North America to pave roads, which the Beebe's visited). You could walk across the surface of this tar pool, but if you stopped and stood still, you began to sink in...

I've tried uploading an album cover several times now using two different browsers, but I keep getting the error message "The upload destination folder does not appear to be writable." Does anyone know what the issue might be? I've never encountered an error uploading album covers before.

Cover for Men I'm Not Married To

https://librivox.org/men-im-not-married-to-by-dorothy-parker/
https://librivox.org/uploads/covers/mennotmarriedto_1807.zip

I read somehere recently that a second 300 x 300 jpg is required using an extension, but I can't find it. Please tell me what that is and I will endeavor to comply from now on.

As an example, for the one you just uploaded, you would save and upload a second jpg file named

mennotmarriedto_1807_itemimage.jpg

I've got this one and will upload and link.

itemimage, I will try to remember, and it is a duplicate of the 300 x 300 image as I recall.

Hi,

here: https://librivox.org/uploads/covers/1000things_1807.zip
is the cover for
https://librivox.org/1000-things-worth-knowing-by-nathaniel-c-fowler-jr/

Cheers
mahne

I start with something between 600-900, but I found, if I will use thin structures, such as borders around letters, I need to make them so thick that when reducing the size later, the border will not look fuzzy, e.g. for this cover I started with 900x900, but the border was 2 pixels wide, when resizing to 300x300, the border looked fuzzy, I then changed it to be 3pixels and it looked better.
all covers made by mahne, constructive criticism appreciated
