Anne:

I'm glad that I finally got the file names right for the Madness of Crowds. At least part of the issue was that I had a malware attack that scrambled the file names I was trying to upload. Had the machine in the shop yesterday and it is now clean. (The post you overlooked would have been another futile effort--think nothing of it.)

I'm sorry to have been such a headache.

Moving forward,

Philip

Hi!

Two covers created and uploaded.

The first one concerns the collective dramatic reading of the pyrate comedy by Charles S Brooks, this project:

This first cover is here: https://librivox.org/uploads/covers/wappin_wharf_frightful_comedy_pirates_ch_s_brooks_1806.zip

The second concerns the children's tale of Jolly Robin by A.S. Bailey, this project:
https://librivox.org/the-tale-of-jolly-robin-by-arthur-scott-bailey/
This is where this second cover is uploaded: https://librivox.org/uploads/covers/tale_jolly_robin_as_bailey_1806.zip

Thanks for taking care

Cheers!

Anne,

Thank you very much for the comment. I took the challenge to try to ressucitate the image by the original illustrator.

Cheers!

I absolutely ADORE the pirate picture, Miguel. :9: I see you took pictures from the book and coloured them in. That must have been tremendous work. But it looks absolutely great. The play was also great, so I'm glad it has a totally cool cover.

Thanks

The cover for "Bringing up the Boy" by Carl Werner can be found here: https://librivox.org/uploads/covers/Salvationist.zip

If anyone would be interested in adding a blurb to the Carl Werner author page, it looks like his middle name was Avery and he was also the author of the books "A Textbook on Tobacco", "Tobaccoland", and "A Man May Dream"; the "American Mercury" article "The Triumph of the Cigarette"; and the poem "A Mother's Prayer", which was put to music by Gustave Ferrari.

Current focus: Acadia, The Watsons, and Pollyanna of the Orange Blossoms

Blanks? Darn I didn't see that! One mistake compounds to many. Sorry.
