msfry wrote: September 14th, 2018, 8:56 pm I claimed the Diaries of Adam and Eve this afternoon and started working on it, and now I see my name has been taken off and Annise is on there. What gives?
It happens sometimes, I've never been able to work out why. Might only total guess is that maybe one of us was using a cached copy of the list , but that's a complete guess

Anne
I never cache web pages. Can someone else's cached version over-ride the most current version? Henceforth if we refresh the page before claiming anything, will we know we have the most recent version? Not trying to cause a ruckus, but it is disappointing to put time into designing a legitimately claimed cover, only to find your claim overridden and someone else's cover quickly appearing on the project. I've never before had my name erased and/or replaced, nor heard of such happening to anyone else, so it did come as a bit of a shock. If there is a glitch in the system, I hope it will soon be corrected.

I'll ping Bart to make sure he sees this. Maybe something can be done (some sort of auto-refresh, maybe). :)

Hello,

I'm not sure about the specifics for covers so... here's a cover submitted by ChristianeJehanne for her solo https://librivox.org/les-destinees-de-la-poesie-by-alphonse-de-lamartine/: https://librivox.org/uploads/covers/desdestineesdelapoesie1809.zip
The illustration can be found here.

I had claimed this cover, but I see now that it is part of an 8 part series all with similar covers.

https://librivox.org/celebrated-crimes-vol-5-by-alexandre-dumas/

I can relinquish it to you, Anne, if you want to keep the series together with similar covers of your design.

Thanks Ezwa. - linked
David Copperfield caught and linked . Thank you - and thank you for your help with cover making in French :D

MsFry - There are 2 versions Celebrated Crimes running at the same time, a group one and a Solo which started later and is arranging the stories differently. I'm making the Solo with a "series" cover to help people find a complete version, you've claimed a "group" cover

Ok then. Thanks for the clarification BUT it looks like Basquetteur has done the most recent covers for the group project. If he'd like to keep it up, I could relinquish it to him and if he would let me know soon, I have my eye on another project I'd like to do.

Hi

I have uploaded here : https://librivox.org/uploads/covers/buscon_quevedo_1809.zip

The cover for El Buscón by Francisco de Quevedo, read by Epachuko, this project:

https://librivox.org/historia-de-la-vida-del-buscon-llamado-don-pablos-ejemplo-de-vagabundos-y-espejo-de-tacanos-by-francisco-de-quevedo/

Thanks for taking care

I am very glad that ChristianneJehane managed to make the cover. I am not sure if I was of real help.

Cheers!

Cher Basquetteur,
Si, bien sûr, vous m’avez bien aidée, et je vous remercie beaucoup !

Mais, je ne suis pas encore véritablement au point.
D’ici mon prochain solo, j’aurai peut-être fait quelque progrès...

Bien amicalement,
et bon dimanche à vous,
Christiane.

The cover for "Mrs. Piozzi's Thraliana" by Charles Hughes can be found here: https://librivox.org/uploads/covers/Salvationist.zip

I noticed that typing "Hester Thrale" into the search box returns no results. It may be good to create a redirect to the author page for Hester Lynch Piozzi; the Wikipedia article about this writer is entitled "Hester Thrale", and is not currently linked from the LibriVox author page.
