I may be going blind, but I don't see this project on the cover list, and it has no cover: https://librivox.org/2-evenings-on-a-farm-near-dikanka-christmas-eve-by-nikolai-vasilievich-gogol/

I added this preclaim while I was in there. In future, please provide the project number (the number at the end of the URL when you're in the MW - in this case, 16191). It's much easier to add the preclaim with that number. ;)

Thanks for processing my preclaim, Tricia! Sorry for giving the wrong number; I’ll try to remember where to find the project number in the future.

For the third time in a row - no idea. I feel a bit like a talking parrot :D Maybe it didn't like Ukranian - I'll make 1 it can't be too hard to find an image for Christmas Eve somewhere.

Anne

I found a Russian silent movie based on it in 1913 - fun but I can't make the link work to show you :( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFDQvNVeh78

Hi!

I have uploaded here: https://librivox.org/uploads/covers/hija_adelantado_j_milla_vidaurre_2101.zip
the cover for La hija del Adelantado by J Milla, this book

https://librivox.org/la-hija-del-adelantado-by-jose-milla-y-vidaurre/

I have had to use a computer, operating system and office and graphic tools that are not the ones I usually use. I have only managed to produce the zip file at a size of 780 kb, above the 600 kb mentioned in the wiki. This is due to the size of the pdf (cd sleeve). With the tools i have currently i do not know how to lower the size. I will only have access back to my computer and tools within one week. If you prefer to wait until then, just let me know and I will try to reduce the size.

Thanks in advance

Cheers,

Basquetteur

I don't know what program you use to make the pdf; I use open office, and when I "export as pdf", there is a setting "Images - jpg compression, which I set to 90% for our covers. It brings the size down considerably.

Something else to do earlier when you make the image is to "flatten" it or to merge all the layers into a single one - another way to make the image smaller.
Cheers, Ava.

Happened to notice, the CD Case Insert for this project is missing, or the link is broken.
