Thanks, Anne. I’m okay with it and think of it like a stock image I release the rights to as the photographer (and model—that happens rarely, haha).
Nice job, Michele!

Cheers,
Scotty

I was mainly just reminding others that me accepting it was a special case because you have been around long enough to realise that doesn't mean that it will only be seen on our web site. And once out there will stay forever

Could the kind cover person who did the cover for the Fortnightly Sonnet 29, please update the links, I had to re-catalog due to a file error and now the cover does not show.
Thanks. Great cover BTW.

I'll fix it in a little while, I'm uploading something else at the moment. Wrong file names are a pain aren't they. I was just about to tell you about it because it mucked up the m4B.

The cover for the third book of "Discourses on the First Decade of Titus Livius" by Niccolò Machiavelli can be found here: https://librivox.org/uploads/covers/Salvationist.zip

Might someone be willing to add information to Ninian Hill Thomson's author page? According to the book at the following URL, he was a lawyer who used the title "Esquire".

https://books.google.ca/books?id=zEdWAAAAcAAJ&pg=PP5&lpg=PP5&dq=ninian+hill+thomson&source=bl&ots=OCbRILU9n8&sig=ACfU3U1mzHfxdnU_f5EqWS-JdeY9KXLTsA&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiAxc7E-o_iAhUSSN8KHWdFDKk4PBDoATAEegQICRAB#v=onepage&q=thomson&f=false

The book at this second URL states that Ninian Hill Thomson was the son of Elizabeth Thomson and William Hill, and he married Margaret Couper, but had no children with her.

https://books.google.ca/books?id=D9MMAwAAQBAJ&pg=PA165&lpg=PA165&dq=ninian+hill+thomson&source=bl&ots=ErJKVrD4kJ&sig=ACfU3U2cuf3tIFeQpEW4QNPrzeTAS7_Crw&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj6u_uE-o_iAhVmiOAKHayXBaI4KBDoATACegQICRAB#v=onepage&q=ninian%20hill%20thomson&f=false

The website at this third URL states that he was born in 1830.

https://www.myheritage.com/names/ninian_thomson

Additionally, it is clear from his translation of Machiavelli that Ninian Hill Thomson was a translator, specifically from Italian to English.

The templates we use usually have copyright statements on the cd case - I won't insist this time but could you make sure others have it , The template I use has

Whom are you talking to, Anne? As there is a copyright status on the cover for Doctor Thorne and that was the last post?
