Hello Librivoxateers:
Cori is preparing Librivox Community Podcast 100 to release in the coming weeks. The 100th episode is considered a special milestone for podcasters and one worthy of celebration. I got my first experience of podcasting producing the Librivox Community Podcast and I have many fond memories of the podcast over the past few years. I believe that the community podcast helped Librivox to gel as a community by introducing us to the personalities behind the voices in our heads that we heard while producing public domain audiobooks. For the 100th episode, I am preparing a collage of greetings, reflections about the podcast, favorite clips, etc...
I can receive the audio greetings in my (very disused) folder on the Librivox uploader: (when your upload is complete, you will receive a link - please post it in this thread):

(If you have trouble reading the image above, please message an admin)
You'll need to select the MC, which for this project is: dtg - ductapguy
by email to
or you can leave a message on my K7 voicemail number at 206-337-0611 (This is a toll call to a Seattle exchange).
The usual Librivox technical specs apply:
Set your recording software to:
Channels: 1 (Mono)
Bit Rate: 128 kbps
Sample Rate: 44.1 kHz
I would like to receive these recordings by Sunday April 12 at 12:00 GMT so that I have time to piece them all together for next week's podcast.
Thanks,
Sean

What do you mean by "greetings"? Something like, "Hiya, world! This is TriciaG, a native Minnesotan living in Ontario!" or something more elaborate
School fiction: David Blaize
America Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew

That would do. Or reflections on your favorite moments from the community podcast, or funny bits or ...TriciaG wrote:What do you mean by "greetings"? Something like, "Hiya, world! This is TriciaG, a native Minnesotan living in Ontario!" or something more elaborate
