Neat, thanks, added to the screensaver collection.
My those early authors (authoresses) were a homely lot (or is it just the old fashioned photography  )

On the contrary, I think Woolf was a handsome woman, ditto Sand. Millay had a pixie-ish cuteness to her in other photos I've seen of her. The lady writer who surprised me most in her good looks is Harriett B Stowe. I'm using the free photo I found of her in the next layout, possibly devoted just to US writers. Need to gather more quotes. ;) Also taking suggestions/ requests.

Thanks for compliments, folks.

Here's another couple:

Had to quote Moliere. Loss of Natasha made me think to add O'Neill.

It's Alcott who's the fox, not Stowe, sorry. 8-)

Oh waw, these are very, very nice indeed!
I love the phrase 'where words are heard'!

Julie.
Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!

Mr. Wooster, how would you support a wife? Well, I suppose it depends on whose wife it was, a little gentle pressure beneath the elbow while crossing a busy street usually fits the bill. (P.G. Wodehouse)
