There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!

I'd have gone for "Where literature is biterate-ure", but I think on balance yours is better.

Neat, thanks, added to the screensaver collection.
My those early authors (authoresses) were a homely lot (or is it just the old fashioned photography )

On the contrary, I think Woolf was a handsome woman, ditto Sand. Millay had a pixie-ish cuteness to her in other photos I've seen of her. The lady writer who surprised me most in her good looks is Harriett B Stowe. I'm using the free photo I found of her in the next layout, possibly devoted just to US writers. Need to gather more quotes. Also taking suggestions/ requests.aradlaw wrote:Neat, thanks, added to the screensaver collection.

Had to quote Moliere. Loss of Natasha made me think to add O'Neill.

It's Alcott who's the fox, not Stowe, sorry.

Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!
Mr. Wooster, how would you support a wife? Well, I suppose it depends on whose wife it was, a little gentle pressure beneath the elbow while crossing a busy street usually fits the bill. (P.G. Wodehouse)
