Hi fellow Voxers!!! So I am brand spanking new to Voiceover work. I'm one of those types who has been told a hand full of times that I "have a nice voice" and "should get into broadcasting" so I decided to try my hand at this. I'm looking for feedback on my one minute test. I know this isn't a field that one succeeds in overnight so this will be a process to constantly improve myself. I am using a Zoom H6 recorder, an Uhuru XLR condenser mic and Audacity for my editing software. The link to my test is https://librivox.org/uploads/tests/test_bfuentes.mp3

Hi and welcome. All of your tech specs are fine and you have the official OK to record for LibriVox. One note is that your volume was a bit low, right on the margin of being too low. There was considerable variation in volume in your three tests, the first was very low, the second a bit louder and the last much louder. I know the material dictated part of that but try to aim at 89dB if possible, Your test, taking all three samples, came in at 86 dB (we take 86 to 92). So nudge up the volume a bit, have fun, jump in there and head over to the Readers Wanted, Short works forum and grab a poem or two.
