Hi Kim, welcome to librivox
You're sounding great and all tech specs are correct. However, your volume is much too high at 95dB. We aim for 86 - 92dB (with 89 being the goal). You should turn down your recording volume. You will also find the option to 'amplify' under 'effects', if using audacity. it can be used to take volume down after recording, as well as increasing it.
You might like to install the checker tool https://cgjennings.ca/projects/checker/ which is able to tell you the volume of recordings.
Once you;ve gotten your volume down please upload the test again and post the link here

Thank you, ashleighjane. I realized late last night that I probably should have recorded a few samples and listened to see which was best. I also did not edit, so I probably should do that too. Will record later today. The microphone is just my Apple earbuds. I think it is sensitive to volume.
Thank you!!!
Thank you!!!
Here is my 1 minute test. Please provide any feedback, as I am looking to learn.
