Hi Jules, welcome to librivox

You might want to consider moving a little closer to your laptop if possible as the volume is ony 77dB and we need 86 - 92dB

Also a couple of tech specs to fix

The bit rate should be 128 kbps.

The recording should be in mono sound, not stereo sound.

The recording should use a constant bit rate.

If you're not sure how to fix these please let me know what software you are using to record and i can instruct you.

If you're able to fix these issues (including getting volume up) please upload a new test and post the link here :)

ok i downloaded audacity and stabilized the bit rate, hopefully this is also in the correct decibel range now

All perfect now. I'm shocked you're sounding so good with a built in mic :shock:
