We do not allow computer generated voices, but only accept real people speaking into microphones.

Other technicals that need adjusting, if you're willing to vocalize audiobooks yourself:

- The bit rate should be 128 kbps. (It's 160 on this one)
- The sampling rate should be 44.1 kHz (44,100 Hz). (It's 22,050 on this one)
- Volume is a bit too high at 92.3 dB; the overall volume should be lowered by 3 dB.

Ah, that's definitely you. :green:

Are you using Audacity? There are some settings to fix, and I will assume you are using Audacity when I give instructions on how to fix them.

1. The recording is in stereo. To change all future recordings, go to Edit, Preferences, Devices. Under Recording, change Channels to "1 (Mono)".
To fix existing recordings, go to Tracks / Mix / Mix Stereo Down to Mono.

2. Bit rate is variable; it needs to be 128 constant. This is set when you export to MP3. When you go to export, on the screen where you enter the file name for the MP3, change the Bit Rate mode to Constant, and the quality should be 128 kbps. You should only have to set it once; it'll remember the setting until you change it again.

Try making these adjustments, then post another test. Use the same file name as your previous one, and post in this same thread when it's ready.

Settings are OK! Your volume is a little high, but you should be okay. Just don't get any louder.
