Hi Linda

I reviewed your audio sample, and while it sounds good there is a technical issue. LV requires audio that is 128kb fixed bit rate, your sample is 98kb variable bit rate. Please make a new sample and choose 128kb fixed as the output from Audacity, and post it in this thread as test2. Someone will come by and check it.

Test 2: I have changed it to 128kb so hopefully, it sounds good now. Thank you

Hi Linda

The bit rate is now 126kb variable. It must be 128kb fixed. The volume is needs to be between 86db and 92db - yours is too low at 81.2db. So, you'll need to do a sample #3.

You can check your audio yourself by downloading the free Checker app: https://cgjennings.ca/projects/checker/

This can save you a lot of time and effort.

Just closing the loop here Linda. Your technical specs are all OK now.

Just a note for the future, watch for background noise. I heard a hum at the beginning of this recording that reduced as it went along. If you need to do noise cleaning, there are instructions here: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Noise_Cleaning

Look forward to seeing you around the forums!
