Hi there !! I have been narrating audiobooks for ACX using Audacity, so I follow their requirements in this test hoping it matches up with the technical protocol in here. I use Windows and a USB microphone.

Welcome! Your voice is of course lovely but there is one tech spec we need changed. We require 128 kbps constant instead of 192 kbps. If you could change that, make another test, call it TEST 2, upload and put the link in this thread I will see it quickly and we can get your great voice and ability recording for us! :D Also, we aim at around 89 decibels. You are fine at 91.1 but please don't go any higher.

Hi again...I realized I had uploaded with 192 kbps....so I corrected it to 128 kbps.

And that is OK. You have the official OK to record lots and lots. Glad you are with us. Back when I was recording for ACX and LibriVox I frequently got the tech specs mixed up because my software would remember what I did last but I would not. Now I just stick with LibriVox and even I can get it straight!
