Hello there,
I am posting the recording made on windows with a Samsung USB mic to try it out. I'm looking forward to your feedback. Cheers!

P.S. there's some background noise that my laptop makes, but I haven't muted it to follow the recommendation from one of the guidelines.

Yes, you did fine. All your tech specs are correct and you have the official OK to record lot and lots. The background noise should be reduced when making actual recordings. Here are some recommendations for your first recording https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExS71WYtUIc Have Fun!!!
