Welcome! Your voice is really nice but there are 2 things you need to fix and then make a TEST 2:

1) We need a bitrate of 128 kbps constant; yours is now set to 115 kbps variable. Simple to fix. here is a video https://youtu.be/K2JWKadgtdE

2) We aim at a volume of 89 decibels; your volume is very low at 74.3 decibels. If you are using Audacity, just move that microphone slider bar to the right to increase volume. Also increase the gain from your microphone. You can also move closer to the microphone. However you do it, please increase your volume. We use the Checker program to check volume https://youtu.be/QKVOYsaDoRo It is tiny and works well for us.

so.... please fix these two things, make another test, call it TEST 2, and put your name in there too upload and put the link in this thread so I can see it quickly. Your voice is really nice so stick with us and we will get there! What software are your using? that might help me help you.

Hi Phil,
Thank you for your helpful feedback. Hopefully I've corrected the issues.
I am using the audacity program. I switched the headset I was using as well. I happened to have 2 of them :D

  Yes indeed that is right on the button. Thanks for your patience and you have the official OK to record lots and lots. We recommend something short to start off with but the choice is yours https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExS71WYtUIc
